As animal advocates, one of our primary goals is creating more positive awareness and change around the province. Members of the organization and the public can attend one of our community events, book speakers and presentations, and receive our quarterly newsletter to help us reach that goal.

The Annual Conference
Each September, we host an annual conference where animal lovers from Saskatchewan and beyond can learn new skills, language, initiatives, and appreciation.

The Link & Safekeeping Presentations
Many people are unaware of the link that exists between domestic violence and animal abuse, and our speakers attend community events to discuss this and how it relates to our overall mission. We educate groups like police services, social services, and veterinarians, along with the general public. Contact info@saskspca.ca for more information.

Community Events
Our volunteers frequently appear at community events, such as Agribition, Pets in the Park, and other more informal pet expos. We provide materials to increase education on animal welfare, pet care, The Link, and much more.

The Humanitarian Newsletter
Members, donors, and volunteers receive our quarterly newsletter, The Humanitarian, which contains articles and other resources that enhance learning about animal relationships and increase awareness of our mission.

The Be a Tree Dog Bite Prevention Program
This dog bite prevention program uses fun, interactive activities to teach children the proper way to act around their own or unfamiliar dogs. This lays a foundation of respect and appreciation for animals from childhood.
