Laura Zmud is a familiar face for many of us at the SaskSPCA. She completed a social work practicum experience with our organization in 2019.
With volunteer and work experience helping both people and animals, she is the perfect choice for the newly created position of Family Ties Coordinator. After completing her Bachelor of Social Work degree, she served as the first Jordan’s Principle Service Coordinator for the Saulteaux First Nation Health Centre. She continues to work on a casual basis as a Medical Social Worker at Royal University Hospital and as a Veterinary Assistant at the WCVM Veterinary Medical Centre.
